Dango Daikazoku~

As by the title of this blog, I've started writing anime reviews.

For those who don't know, anime is a type of Japanese animation that's super popular and comes in many genres and types. Each time I finish an anime or are really into it (depending on how long the series may be), I'll do a review on it.

For my first review I've chosen the anime Clannad.

Clannad revolves around a third year high school delinquent named Tomoya Okazaki. In the beginning of his year, he meets Nagisa Furukawa, a student repeating her last year of high school due to being sick too much the previous year. Her goal is to join the drama club since she was unable to the last year. Unfortunately, the drama club was disbanded after the remaining members graduated. Because Tomoya has a lot of free time, he works with Nagisa to help revive the drama club. During this time period, he meets and hangs out with other girls in his school, and helps them with their own individual problems.

The title of this particular post is the title of the song in the credits which translates to The Big Dango Family. It's a pretty cute song with adorable animation during the credits. Nagisa Furukawa is a fan of The Big Dango Family and sings the song and draws them all over a poster for reviving the drama club.

Overall this 24 episode anime is very sweet with a good storyline. It's also sad at some times but has some comedic relief and great characters people grow to love. I completely recommend it to anyone.
